Message	issue. If it's bad - it will cause the battery to drain down pretty quickly (and not charge right either). Easy to test with a digital meter if it can measure DC amps. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal and measure the car's current draw - all doors closed, hatch closed, all lights off including interior, etc. If more than .050 amps (50 mA) there's an issue, report back what you test. A bad alty will be drawing down around 2 amps or so even with the car off.
